While following healthy diet Hunger pangs can be a big obstacle. So to win the obesity battle we have to learn hunger management .

Tips to suppress your appetite-

1) Water – 3 liters of water everyday is the best thing you can give to your body . Water helps in numbers of way, it not only regulates body temperature but also helps in weight loss by suppressing the appetite. It keeps the toxins away from the body and is good for skin and hair too.

2) Have portable food handy whenever you go out ( Apple, orange, banana, pear, etc) and munch on these when your sweet tooth surfaces. This will give you more fiber and less calories.

3) Do grocery shopping from a checklist if you have no prepared list than the best advice will be to shop with a full belly as it will control you from buying unwanted extra things which you usually carry on names of discounts, deals or new products.

4) The universal eating rule
“Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper!”
This quotes tells everything about the quantity of big meals to eat throughout the day.

5) Time for diner -diner has to be light and at least 3 hours before you sleep. After diner if you still want to eat something you can have little milk or green tea.

6) Eat slow – brain takes upto 20 minutes to get signal from the belly that the stomach is full and in those 20 minutes we keep on adding stuff in our tummy which is one of the main reason of weight gain. So always eat 80% of your hunger.

7) Shop sanely while shopping go for products with zero trans fats, no hydrogenated oil. Low sodium, less sugars, less saturated fats .

8) Eating right starts with stocking right. So stock up healthy food only. Do the required changes like select yogurt instead of ice creams, nuts instead of chips or chocolates. Oil free pop corns instead of oily snacks, fruits instead of sweets, 100% real juices instead of fizzy aerated drinks, whole wheat products instead of refined products.
There is no magic bullet for weight loss. But planned meals can definitely bring you close to your set healthy eating goals.
