Stuffed Broccoli Parathas

In India people love to have parathas in breakfast. Undoubtedly parathas are healthy if made with multigrain flour and without oil.
Broccoli parathas is one of the easiest way to include broccoli in your diet. Broccoli kills the cancer stem cell, it is great anti ageing vegetable and is high in fibre, vitamin A, C , iron, potassium and folic acid. It is good for everyone but children and pregnant women should make a point to consume atleast once a week.
So here is another healthy breakfast recipe- broccoli Parathas.

It’s a very simple nutritious recipe and perfect for the breakfast.

It is served with plain yogurt or raita and pickle.

Ingredients For 10-12 parathas
For the dough
3 cups whole wheat or multigrain flour .

Stuffing-
1 medium broccoli, grated
50gms paneer cottage cheese , grated ( optional)
1-2 green chillies
1/2 spoon jeera powder
1/2 spoon coriander powder
3/4 spoon dry mango
1/2 inch piece of ginger finely chopped
Salt to taste

Directions:
Take broccoli wash it and either grate it or finely chop it in food processor. Now take a pan heat 1 tea spoon oil and add finely chopped broccoli, stir fry it to dry the moisture in broccoli. Cool it add green chillies, ginger, Cummin seeds, coriander seeds, salt, dry mango, garam masala, paneer( cottage cheese). Mix well.
Knead the dough by adding little salt and water. Cover it with wet towel and keep it aside for at least half an hour.
Now make smooth balls from the prepared paratha dough. Flatten the ball slightly and in the center put one spoon of stuffing and cover with the side dough and seal the ends completely and then roll again . Keep on dusting flour so that the filling does not come out . Place the paratha on hot tawa and cook it from both the sides drizzle little oil.
